BoxSmith was first established in February of 2015, and is owned and operated by Jessica Smith, a passionate USABoxing and CPR-certified boxing trainer committed to providing a fun and safe boxing workout while nurturing an eclectic inclusive community. She is a long-time practitioner of martial arts and a hardcore convert to traditional American Boxing. She's focused on teaching technical boxing technique while giving you the best and most satisfying workout of your life.
In 2016, the gym moved to its permanent studio-space in West Roxbury and has grown into a small but fierce dynamo focused on building community and fitness through the sport of boxing.
All skill levels are welcome, from never having boxed before to super experienced and training for upcoming fights. You can come for a workout, or learn how to fight. Your goals are always your coach's focus. We are flexible and can work around injuries, and can help you gain strength and confidence and crush your goals.
